• remove the back panel:
• withdraw the air filter
• remove any dirt and debris by blowing with compressed air or
washing with warm soapy water
7.5 CLEAN MOTOR AND FAN
Clean the fan blades and the motor as follows:
• Remove the lid body
• Clean the motor with compressed air.
• Clean the fan blades with a hard brush.
• Reinstall the lid body
7.6 CLEANING THE INSIDE OF THE MACHINE
The inside of the dehumidifier can be thoroughly cleaned with
compressed air. However, the following must be ensured:
• Remove the lid body
• Using a soft brush and vacuum cleaner, carefully clean the:
• electrical parts.
• condenser and evaporator finned coils
• internal support structure
• Reinstall the lid body
Warning
After any technical work, always check that the unit works
properly.
8. EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE
Warning
All operations described in this paragraph must be
performed only by professionally qualified, duly licensed
personnel in compliance with Regulation 517/2014/EU
and Italian Presidential Decree No. 146/2018.
Maintenance, recharging and repair of the refrigeration circuit may
only be performed by authorised personnel. The refrigeration circuit
is accessed via a load valve located on the compressor return line.
9. DISPOSAL
At the end of its working life, this unit is to be scrapped and
disposed of by handing it over to the local separate waste collection
system pursuant to and in scrupulous compliance with current
legislation. Before scrapping the unit, check the machine dataplate:
if it bears the symbol
the Italian Legislative Decree 151 of 25/07/2005 and Directive
2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WAEE).
Consequently, the owner needs to find the local system that collects
electrical and electronic products and follow its instructions. Illegal
disposal of this product in normal household waste may create
serious damage to the environment and human health and is
subject to punishment by the local administrative authority.
10. TROUBLESHOOTING
Warning
All the operations described in this section must be
performed only by professionally qualified personnel.
The electronic control system detects and constantly monitors the
refrigeration circuit parameters, displaying a warning on the screen
if a failure occurs; such failure can be detected and defined via a
specific DIAGNOSTICS function.
There are several types of malfunctions and failures that can be
detected: OVERHEATING - DETECTABLE FAILURE - UNDETECTABLE
FAILURE.

10.1 OVERHEATING
When the refrigerating group condenser temperature exceeds the
set limit, the compressor cuts out and the fan continues running.
The following symbol appears on the screen:
When this temperature falls below the set restart value, the
dehumidifier resumes the dehumidification cycle. The cause could
be the result of insufficient air flow due to partial obstruction of the
air inlet or outlet vent.
If the problem persists, contact an authorised service centre to have
the machine repaired.
10.2 DETECTABLE FAILURE
When the cause of the failure can be detected by the system, the
following symbols appear on the screen:
The type of failure is identified by consulting the available
diagnostics:
• Press buttons (A) and (B) simultaneously and keep them pressed
for 5 seconds to call up the DIAGNOSTICS screen:
The following appear on the screen:
• The values of all available humidity and temperature sensors (U:
relative room humidity, Ta: ambient temperature, Sc: condenser
temperature, Te: evaporator temperature)
• If a sensor fails and is not working, the corresponding value
will not be displayed; therefore the sensor must be replaced or
reset
• The operating status (0: not powered, 1: powered) of the three
main components (CP: compressor. EV: solenoid valve, MV: fan).
To check its operating status, simply press alternately:
• button (B) to switch the compressor (CP) on/off
• button (C) to open/close the by-pass valve (EV)
• button (D) to switch the fan (MV) on/off
If one of the three components fails, it must be replaced or repaired.
