the saw table, refer to the Installing the Rip Guide section.
Using the Miter Guide

• Attach the miter guide (B) to the rip guide (E).
• Loosen the miter guide knob and rotate to the desired
angle by moving the guide left or right.
• Securely tighten the miter guide knob.
Making Cuts
WARNING
• ALWAYS put the tile saw on a clean, stable and flat surface.
• Maintain an adequate distance from the cutting wheel when cutting.
• Do not reach into the working range of the spinning cutting wheel while the product is operating.
• Carefully check the workpiece to be machined. There must not be objects, such as utility lines, nearby
that will present a hazard while working.
• This saw is designed to cut man-made tile, pavers, and stone tile products only.
• Wait until the cutting wheel has reached its maximum speed before commencing work.
• Before commencing work, check there is sufficient cooling water in the product.
• In the case of complex cuts (miter or bevel cuts) we recommend making a test cut beforehand.
• The cutting wheel will continue to rotate for a few seconds after the machine has been switched off.
Wait for the cutting wheel to stop before removing the workpiece, or making any adjustments.
• ALWAYS draw the line to be cut on the tile using a marker or grease pencil. If the tile is shiny and
hard-to-mark, place masking tape on the tile and mark the tape.
• A common problem when cutting tile is straying from the marked line. Once you've strayed from the
mark, you can not force the wheel back to the line by twisting the tile. Instead, back up and recut the
tile slicing off a small amount of tile until the wheel is back on track.
• To avoid this problem, use the rip guide or miter guide whenever possible.
• Another problem is cutting difficult material. To prevent chipping of the material at the end of the cut:
first cut 1-1/2 in. of the material, then turn off the saw; flip the material around 180° and make the cut.
• Clean the saw blade, rip and miter guides, and bevel table frequently during use. Debris from the cut
material can interfere with the function of the tool.
