GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to
damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use.

CLEANING

After each use, remove the battery and clean debris from the chain and guide bar
with a soft brush. Wipe the pole saw surface with a clean cloth moistened with a
mild soap solution.

Remove the chain-sprocket cover, and then use a soft brush to remove debris
from the guide bar, saw chain, sprocket and chain-sprocket cover.

Always clean out wood chips, saw dust, and dirt from the guide bar groove when
replacing the saw chain.
All pole saw service, other than the items listed in these maintenance instructions,
should be per formed by competent pole saw service personnel.
