Selecting a station
The name of the currently selected station
appears at the bottom of the display.
Press

button to select previous or next
station in the list.

Station list
Press the menu button and confirm [station
list] by pressing the volume knob. Rotate the
volume knob to select a station and press it
to confirm. The device starts playing auto-
matically.
Note: The reception quality of a station de-
pends on factors such as weather, installation
location and antenna orientation. If a sta-
tion from the station list cannot be received,
change the orientation of the antenna or the
location of the radio. Stations that can no
longer be received can be removed from the
station list.
6.5
Delete stations that can no
longer be received
Stations that can no longer be received can
be deleted from the list. To do this, press the
menu button and select [prune]. Then se-
lect [yes] and these stations will be deleted.
Selecting [no] takes you back into the menu
without deleting the stations.
6.6
Storing DAB stations on the
preset buttons
On the radio, you can save up to 5 favourite
radio stations using the preset buttons 1-5
on the device. To do this, select the desired
station and press and hold the correspond-
ing preset button until the display shows
[stored]. The presets can be easily accessed
by briefly pressing the corresponding preset
button.

Dynamic Range Control
(DRC)
Some DAB stations support DRC, which re-
duces the difference between loud and soft
tones.
The following settings are possible:
[off] – DRC is switched off, Broadcast DRC
will be ignored.
[low] – DRC level is set to 1/2 sent by broad-
caster.
[high] – DRC level is used as sent by broad-
caster.
To set DRC, proceed as follows:
Press the menu button and select [DRC].
The settings for DRC can be changed in
the following menu. The current setting is
indicated by [*].
Note: Not all DAB broadcasts are able to use
the DRC function. If the broadcaster does not
support DRC, then the DRC setting in the ra-
dio will have no effect.

FM radio
To receive the FM radio, make sure the anten-
na of the radio is extended.
Press the source button repeatedly until you
can see [FM] on the display.
7.1
Station scan
You can automatically search for FM stations.
To do this, press the menu button on top of
the radio to display main menu. By rotating
of volume knob navigate to [full scan] and
confirm selection by pressing the volume
knob. [auto scanning..] appears on the dis-
play. Stations are ordered by frequency.
7.2
Scan settings
You can use this function to control which sta-
tions are stored in memory during automatic
station search. By selecting the [strong sta-
tions only] option, you can ensure that only
stations with a strong reception signal are
stored. To use this feature, press the menu
button and select [scan setting]. In the fol-
lowing menu, you can choose between [all
stations] and [strong stations only]. The
current setting is indicated by an asterisk [*].
7.3
Manual tuning
While in FM source, press and hold
button to manually scan for station with lower
/ higher frequency.
Alternatively, you can press the menu but-
ton to call up the menu and select [manual
tuning]. Then rotate volume knob to change
the frequency. Confirm selected frequency by
pressing the volume knob.
7.4

Mono/Stereo settings
For stations with poor reception, a slight qual-
ity improvement can be achieved by switch-
ing to mono reception. To do this, press the
menu button and select [mono/stereo]. In
the following menu you can choose from two
options: [stereo allowed] or [forced mono].
The current setting is identified by [*].

Bluetooth audio
To select Bluetooth source, press the source
button repeatedly until you can see [Blue-
tooth] on the display.
8.1
Pairing Bluetooth devices
for the first time
or
Make sure that the device to be paired is
switched on and Bluetooth is activated. On
the radio change source to [Bluetooth] by
pressing the source button. The text [un-
paired] appears on the display. Now open the
Bluetooth settings on the device to be paired
and start searching for available Bluetooth
devices there. Select "Loewe radio.frequency"
to start the pairing process.
Now the playback can be controlled via the
device.
8.2
Pairing another device
If you want to pair a new device with the radio,
you must first disconnect the currently paired
device. To do this, long-press the source but-
ton on the radio until the device is discon-
nected. When no device is connected, the text
[unpaired] will start flashing on the display.
