CONSTRUCTION AND APPLICATION
The tile table saw is designed for wet cutting of ceramic tiles or similar
materials, of a size appropriate to the size of the saw itself. It is not
permitted to use the saw for cutting wood or metal. Only cutting discs
designed for this type of machine should be used with the saw. The
chainsaw has been designed for all DIY (do-it-yourself) work.
Do not misuse the device.
OPERATION OF THE DEVICE
NOTE: Make sure that the cutter is disconnected from the mains
supply before carrying out any adjustment work on the cutter.
ATTENTION: The mains voltage must correspond with the voltage
indicated on the rating plate of the cut-off machine. The cut-off
Description
machine may only be switched on when the material to be cut is
away from the cutting disc.
PREPARATION FOR WORK
The tile cutter is delivered disassembled. Remove the components from
the packaging and assemble it.
• Fix the legs fig. A1 to the base fig. A16 and secure with screws
(supplied).
• Place the head with the worktop in the base making sure that the
water pump fig. C18 is fixed in the right place in the base (if
necessary, slide the water pipe over the spigot of the circulating
pump).
• Fit the cutting length stop lock knobs fig. A3.
• Mount the head holder
• Loosen the head lock screw
• Connect the adjustable protractor to the stop bar Fig. A17 using a
screw (the adjustable protractor can be mounted on both sides of
the work table).
• Ensure that all assembled components are fitted correctly and firmly
so that they do not move while working, increasing the risk to the
user during operation.
ATTENTION: Before starting the actual work, the saw must be
started after assembly to ensure that all parts are correctly fitted.
NOTE: The head lock screw must be unscrewed before using the cutter.
Otherwise it is not possible to move the head together with the cutting disc.
The water pump should be submerged in water when cutting.
ON/OFF
Switching on - press button I of the switch Fig. B12a.
Switching off - press button O of the switch Fig. B12b.
The power cable plug of the cutter is equipped with a residual current
protection device. The correct operation of the residual current protection
must be checked before starting the machine.
• Insert the plug into the power socket.
• Press the "Reset" button - the power light will turn red.
• Start the cutter.
• Press the "Test" button - the light will turn black and the cut-off
machine will switch off.
• Press the "Reset" button again and start work.
• In the event of a malfunction of the residual current protection (other
than that described above), it is absolutely necessary to unplug the
power cable from the mains socket and refer the device for repair at
an authorised service centre.
CUTTING
The water pump, supply line and water hose must not be in the cutting
area. The cutting disc must reach maximum speed before starting to cut.
Wait until the cooling water jet reaches the cutting disc.
The base of the adjustable protractor acts as a longitudinal stop bar.
• Set the bevel protractor Fig. C20 to 0° and tighten the bevel
protractor lock knob.
• Set the bevel protractor to the correct dimension using the
graduation on the stop bar.
• Slide the ceramic plate against the stop bar and the base of the
adjustable protractor Fig. C20.
• Start the cutter by pressing the "I" button on the switch Fig. B12a
and wait until the water reaches the cutting disc.
• Make the cut by slowly and steadily moving the head fig A6 while
holding the handle fig A13 with your hand. Hold the ceramic tile
(preferably with a tile holding piece) before it can be moved taking
care not to injure yourself.
• Switch off the cut-off machine by pressing the "O" button on the
switch Fig. B12b.
Always move the cutter head far enough so that the cut can be made in
its entirety. Switch off the cutter and wait until the cutting disc stops and
only then remove the cut pieces of material.
CUTTING AT AN ANGLE
• Select and set the desired cutting angle on the adjustable protractor
• Place the ceramic plate resting against the stop bar fig. C17 and the
base of the adjustable protractor fig.
• Make the cut as described above.
UKOSH CUTTING
• Loosen the bevel lock knobs fig. A11 on both sides of the unit.
• Tilt the head to the correct angle (the value of the set angle can be
