the appliance complies with what is indicated
in this manual.

After finishing the installation these instruc-
tions should be given to the owner/user of the
appliance.
The appliance must be able to be disconnected
from the mains electricity supply after installa-
tion.
It can be disconnected by making the plug
accessible or by incorporating a switch in the
fixed wiring that meets electrical installation
standards.
INSTALLATION:
Before starting the installation, check that the propeller is not deformed or
damaged, that it can turn freely, and that no foreign body is lodged inside
the outer casing."
The appliance shall be installed according to the attached graphic do-
cumentation.
Make sure that there is no obstacle blocking the flow of air.
Fan is not intended for mounting in outside windows or walls.
This kitchen extractor must be installed in the inner part of the kitchen
chimney as shown in fig. 1. The kitchen extractor should be fixed on the
wall by means of screws and fixing plugs supplied; they must be separa-
ted by 200 mm. (GS-400M) / 140 mm. (GS-400P). The extractor must be
fixed to the plugs by the rear part.
Following, mark in the wall the exact point where plastic plug for the prop
should be placed. Then make a hole of 6 mm. and put the plastic plug in.
Finally, insert the screw in the prop for definitive fixation of the extractor.
NOTE: Do not connect the extractor to a smoke chimney, ventilating or
heating ducting. Before connecting with the tubing, consult the bylaws
concerning air-ducting and ask permission to the person responsible
for the building. Make sure that ventilation is the appropriate even when
using simultaneously the extractor together with other appliances con-
nected to a source other than electricity.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION:
Make sure that the voltage (V) and frequency (Hz) of the power supply
correspond to the values indicated on the nameplate."

The power supply cable must be placed so that no liquid or vapour can en-
ter the appliance along it. If this were not possible, the cable entry should
be sealed additionally, e.g. with silicone. Otherwise, the indicated IP rating
would not be maintained.
In the event that this appliance is not used, it is recommended that you
disconnect it from the mains electricity supply.
To finish the installation, verify that all the connections have been done
correctly and make sure that the cables are placed correctly.
