Problem

Possible cause
The appliance is not plugged
into the wall socket.
There is no electricity.
The appliance is
overheating.
Malfunction in the appliance.
The Steam button was not
pressed or is still blinking. /
The Steam Control knob is
in the off position.
The jug is too large.
Skimmed milk was used.

Possible solution
Ensure the appliance
is plugged into the wall
socket and the plug is firmly
inserted.
Check the power source.
Turn the Steam Control
knob to "OFF" and unplug
the appliance from the wall
socket.
Let the appliance cool down
for at least 10 minutes. Plug
the appliance in and try
again.
Unplug the appliance
and contact your nearest
authorised service centre to
arrange a repair.
Press the Steam button and
wait until the button stops
blinking.
Turn the Steam Control knob
anti-clockwise to turn on and
increase the steam in the
steam wand.
Use a frothing jug that is
slim and tall enough, with
a diameter of at least 7 cm,
bearing in mind that the milk
will double in volume after
frothing.
Do not use a jug that is too
large or too small for the
amount of milk.
Use whole milk or semi-
skimmed milk.
