Improper blade clearance
Dull chipper blades
Drive system vibration
Rotor out of balance
Chipper blade to anvil clearance is incorrect

REMEDY
Install belt properly, install belt under belt guide
Adjust belt tension, Replace belt or belt tension
spring if needed
Contact your nearest authorized dealer to order
the correct belt for your chipper
Replace pulley(s)
Align pulley(s) to within 1/16" with straight edge
Replace belt or belt tension spring
Flip, sharpen, or replace
Use branch or similar object to clear discharge

Set blade/anvil clearance to recommended
distance
Flip, sharpen, or replace
Check drive belts, bearings, and pulleys for bad
or worn areas. Check for dull chipper blades.
