We recommend regular maintenance in accordance with DIN EN 12056-4, DIN EN 12050-3
and DIN 1986/100 (by a qualified specialist) to ensure the long-term operational safety of
your system.
Purpose
Maintenance serves to care for a system and to extend its service life.
The aim of maintenance is to prevent malfunctions, minimise wear and tear and detect wear at
an early stage in order to avoid unplanned downtimes, an operational standstill or cost-intensive
consequential damage to a system as far as possible.
Safety
Safety check, here especially the prescribed electronic test according to VDE function test to mini-
mise unplanned malfunctions and major consequential damage. .
Effort
The maintenance costs of a system depend, among other things, on its age, running time, load and
installation type of the system. Since the time required can also vary from one maintenance interval
to the next, maintenance is usually calculated on a flat-rate basis.
Replacement of necessary components or wear parts are charged according to time and effort.
Intervals
The intervals must not be greater than:
- 1/4 year for systems in commercial establishments;
- 1/2 year for systems in apartment buildings;
- 1 year for systems in single-family houses.
Warranty
In order for the operator to be able to make use of any warranty claims in accordance
with VOB or DIN a maintenance contract must be concluded after acceptance of the
new system. Please note that for a warranty claim, corresponding evidence of the maintenance
work carried out must be submitted.
