NOTE!
The radio must be in operational mode for storing stations to memory.
7.3.5. Calling up the user memory
To call up a user memory space, proceed as follows:
Hold down the U S E R /S L E E P button until the desired user memory (A or
B) appears beside the frequency display.
Now use the P R E S E T − or P R E S E T + button to select the desired memo-
ry space.
7.3.6. Volume
Press the
V O L U M E button to reduce the volume.

7.3.7. Key lock
Hold down the M O D E / B A N D button for approximately 3 seconds to acti-
vate the key lock. The key symbol appears on the display when the lock is acti-
vated.
Hold down the M O D E / B A N D button again for approximately 3 seconds to
deactivate the key lock.
7.3.8. Display lighting
Press the S N O O Z E /D I M M E R button to activate the background lighting.
Press the S N O O Z E /D I M M E R button to deactivate the background light-
ing.
NOTE!
The display is automatically dimmed between 23:00 hrs and 05:00 hrs.
7.3.9. Switching between stereo and mono reception
The device allows you to play a radio station in stereo or mono quality.
With the device in operational mode, press the R C C S T- M O button to switch
between ST (stereo) and MO (mono) reception.
The selected function is shown on the display.
− After 5 seconds, the display switches back to the memory space display.
7.4. Changing the display mode
− You can choose one of three display modes for the device in the switched-off
state:
