7. Underneath the vehicle, determine a suitable mounting point behind
the rear bumper fascia on the driver's side. Mount the T-One®
Connector black box using the double-sided tape provided.
Note:
Clean flat mount surface area using a 50-50 mixture of rubbing
alcohol and water to mount lighting module black box.
Make sure lighting module is mounted so that the epoxy side of the
module is pointed towards the ground to prevent any water buildup.
8. Locate a suitable grounding point near the black box such as an
existing ground stud or drill a 3/32" hole and secure the white wire
using the eyelet and screw provided. (Do not drill into vehicle floor or
bed.) Clean dirt and rustproofing from area.
Verify what is behind any surface prior to drilling to avoid damage to
the vehicle and/or personal injury. Do not drill into any exposed
surfaces.

9. Route harness containing the green wire to the passenger side. Route
down and underneath the vehicle, up through the opening between the
vehicle bumper and body to the passenger's side taillight pocket.
If routing the wire thru a grommet and along the exterior of the vehicle,
be careful to avoid any hot pipes, heat shields, the fuel tank or any other
points that may pinch or break the wire.
Note:
For ease of installation use a fish wire between the vehicle body and
fascia to route harness with the green wire acrossed to the passenger's
side of the vehicle. Continue routing the harness with the green wire
between the body and fascia up through and into the taillight pocket.
