Detector Settings
Volume
The Volume control changes the loudness of target signals.
Use the Volume button to adjust the Volume Level. Each press of
the Volume button will advance to the next Volume Level from
low to high. Once maximum Volume is reached, pressing the
Volume button will return to the lowest Volume Level.

GF-650 detectors are highly sensitive and have
adjustable sensitivity. Setting the correct sensitivity level for
individual detecting conditions will maximise detection depth.
Always choose the highest stable Sensitivity setting to ensure
optimum performance.
In standby mode, press gr.ba/select to select adjustment

The minimum sensitivity level is 1 and the maximum sensitivity level is 99
The current screen display sensitivity is 68
To Adjust the Sensitivity Level
①.Press the gr.ba/select button to select the
②.Hold the coil stationary, then use the + button to increase
the sensitivity until false signals begin to occur.
③.Reduce the Sensitivity Level just enough that the false
signals disappear.
④.Sweep the coil over a clear patch of ground, and reduce
the Sensitivity Level further if any ground noise is
encountered.
Automatic Ground Balance
Sometimes, excessive noise is encountered whilst detecting.
This can be caused by environmental electromagnetic.Ground
Balancing enables the detector to separate unwanted ground
signals from target signals.GF-650 has automatic ground
tracking function,GF-650 continuously monitors and tracks the
ground for tracking and removal Ground noise. Built in
automatic tracking is a reliable choice under most detection
conditions.
If noise is a problem, try the following steps in order until the
noise is eliminated.
Automatic ground balance setting
Hold the coil stationary, press and hold GR.BA/SELECT for
3 seconds, the screen displays 90 values, and the words
GR-BALANCE light up to enter the automatic balance state
For best results, the coil should be held stationary just
above the ground until Automatic Noise Cancel is complete

WARNING: After the local balancing is completed,
long press GR.BA/SELECT for three seconds to turn
off the automatic balancing
