Required Tools and Hardware
You will need to gather a few common tools and hardware.
Always consult your local building code for proper hardware.

Decide how you would like to install your DWST82800 48"
(122 cm) metal rail

before you begin.
1. DWST82800 metal rail
framed, masonry, or concrete wall. See Installing onto
Masonry/Concrete Walls to install on those surfaces.

Single Section Installation

concrete wall, waterproof the surface to prevent moisture.
DO nOT attempt to install the DWST82800 metal rail
using any type of masonry nail. Use #10 or 4.8 mm pan or
washer head masonry screws (not included).
1. With the required tools and hardware close at hand,
position DWST82800 metal rail
straighten using a level.
2. Mount the DWST82800 metal rail
masonry screws.
3. Place screws in the top and bottom screw holes
of the DWST82800 metal rail
between each mounting point is not less than
24" (609 mm). Always follow the masonry screw
manuafacturer instructions when installing.
4. Place screws in the screw holes
