Installation Steps for a 2.5"
Hard Drive into a 2.5" Hard
Drive Adapter:
1. Align the screw holes on the
2.5" hard drive with those on
the hard drive adapter.
2. Use two smaller screws
securely fasten the hard drive
to the adapter.
Installing a Hard Drive with
a Hard Drive Adapter into a
Hard Drive Carrier:
1. Insert the adapter into the
carrier, aligning the hard drive
connector towards the back.
Double-check that the end of
the hard drive aligns with the
end of the hard drive carrier.
2. Align the screw holes on the
hard drive with the back set of
holes on the hard-drive carrier.
When aligned correctly, the
back of the hard drive is flush
with the back of the hard-drive
carrier.
3. Use five smaller screws
secure the hard drive to the
carrier.
