PROBLEM
Cannot pull
or hard to pull
recoil starter.
Not enough
delivery volume.
Pump does not
prime water.
Engine does
not start.
Oil leakage form
muffler or air cleaner.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Old fuel.
Rusting inside engine.
Burn out of engine.
Stick impeller.
Obstacles at impeller.
Air leakage from suction side.
Output power down from engine.
Damage of mechanical seal.
Suction lift is high.
Suction pipe is too long or
smaller in diameter.
Leakage of water from
delivery hose or pipe.
Obstacles at impeller.
Wearing out of impeller.
Air goes in from suction side.
Insufficient priming water
inside pump casing.
Drain plug is not tighten.
Imperfect revolution of engine.
Damage of mechanical seal.
Wrong suction hose used.
Carburetor is choked.
Spark Plug is wet.
Air cleaner dirty.
Too much engine oil.
(4 stroke engine)
Insufficient engine oil.
(4 stroke engine)
Even if you check above points,
still engine does not start.
Fall of engine.
SOLUTION
Replace to new fuel. If there is no
improvement, repair engine.
Refer to "Engine Operation Manual".
(Repair.)
Dismantle & clean the impeller.
Check piping at suction side.
Check & Repair engine.
Replace mechanical seal. (Repair.)
Make suction lift lower.
Shorten suction pipe or enlarge
diameter.
Check and stop leakage of water.
Dismantle & clean the impeller.
Replace the impeller. (Repair.)
Check piping at suction side.
Pour more water into pump casing for
priming. Refer [BEFORE USE] "
pump with water before use"(P.6).
Tighten drain plug firmly. Please refer
[ATTENTION AFTER USE].
Refer to "Engine Operation Manual".
Replace mechanical seal. (Repair)
Use suction hose correctly.
Repair.
Check & repair the plug.
Clean air cleaner.
(Refer to "Engine Operation Manual".)
Adjust engine oil to suitable level.
Function of oil alert (oil sensor) is working.
(This function protects engine. If volume of engine
oil is not suitable level, engine does nor start.)
Possibility of damage, inner parts of
engine. (Repair.)
Repair.
