Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING – RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK!
• Before cleaning, always unplug the unit from the mains
socket and allow it to cool down completely.
• Never immerse the grill/griddle plate, bamboo base,
power cable, plug, or probe connector in water or any
liquid. Do not rinse them under the tap.
• Clean the unit after each use to prevent grease and food residue
from accumulating.
• Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire
brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the unit.
• Probe connector: Unplug the probe connector from the grill/
griddle plate before cleaning
connector with a moist cloth and dry completely with a dry cloth.
Do not allow any liquid to enter the probe connector.
• Grill/Griddle plate, probe socket:
– Remove the grill/griddle plate from the bamboo base before
cleaning.
– If necessary, wipe the probe socket with a slightly moist cloth
and dry it completely with a dry cloth.
WARNING!
• When cleaning, do not allow any liquid to enter the
probe socket.
• Before plugging the probe connector into the probe
socket, make sure the interior of the probe socket is
completely dry.
– Use a soft, damp cloth or kitchen paper to remove food residue
from the cooking surface of the grill/griddle plate. To clean
stubborn food residue, pour a small amount of cooking oil
over it and let it sit for a few minutes.
. If necessary, wipe the probe
