The 4 programme keys:
LEUKO Up to 12 different cell counting keys can be included in the
percentage proportion for leukocyte differentiation. The total sum
can be selected between 100 and 1000 in stages of 100. Furthermore
3 single count keys (Normo, Tox Gr. and Div/Ery) are available
but those cannot be included in the percentage calculation.
MYELO/RBC Up to 15 different cell counting keys can be included in the
percentage proportion. The total sum can be selected between 100
and 1000 in stages of 100.
RETI Only the Div/Reti and Div/Ery keys are available in this programme.
The counting steps for the erythrocytes can be set to
1/5/10/15/20/30/40 and 50 before starting the counting process. The
total sum is 1000 by default. The reticulocytes are counted in steps of
1. Div/Ery is always 100%. Div/Reti cannot be displayed in
percentage – the display shows "- - -".
FREE Within this optional programme all cell counting keys may be either
included in or excluded from the percentage calculation. Keys that
should not be included in the percentage calculation have to be
pressed once before starting to count. Those keys are illuminated
afterwards. Pressing them again switches off the light and includes
the counting key into the percentage calculation.
After determination of the keys the total sum has to be chosen with
SET, as previously described. Pressing SET repeatedly increases the
total sum each time for 100 counting impulses till max. 1000. The
counting process can be started with GO ON + COUNT.
Pressing a key which is not included into the percentage calculation
a slight acoustic signal sounds. Checking the percentage for those
keys with %, "- - -" is displayed while for the other keys the
percentage is displayed as usual.
