Press FLASH to generate a timed line break.
SPKR

Speaker Mode

Press SPKR to activate and deactivate the hands-free function. If SPKR is pressed while the PE930 is
off, then Loudspeaker Monitor is automatically activated.
Press and release VOL to select the high receive volume setting. Press again to return to the normal
setting.
In TALK mode, receive only is possible while in speaker mode.
After disconnection from the line for more than 5 minutes, the PE930 automatically switches off to
preserve the battery, and the time-out tone is heard.
POL
Polarity
To determine the polarity, press POL. The LED will indicate polarity as follows:
• Red wire connected to ring (negative): Green LED
• Red wire connected to tip (positive): Red LED
Pressing POL while ringing will cause both LEDs to flash.
Use of the POL function will not disrupt data or speech.
