NOTE
Refer to Fig. 3 (page 11),
Fig. IPB 1 (page 15) and
Fig. IPB 2 (page 17) for component
identification for all overhaul
procedures.
NOTE
Prior to assembly, certain components
require lubrication in clean oil. Refer to
Table 4 (page 10) for details.
Pump tube upper packing
1 Install o-ring (5) and o-ring (6)
onto body (7).
2 Position body (7) with large diameter
upward.
3 Install o-ring (13) into body.
4 Install spacer (14) into body. Make sure
spacer centers and seats properly.
5 Install seal (15) ,lip end first,
into lantern ring (16).
6 Install lantern ring into body. Make sure
ring centers and seats properly.
7 Install and seat seal (17) ,heel end first,
into body.

NOTE
Do not place washer (18)
inside spacer (19). Damage to
components will occur.
8 Install washer (18) and spacer (19) into
body.
9 Lubricate air motor piston rod.
10 Install body (while holding spacer in
place) onto piston rod. Use a small
hammer or other suitable tool.
11 Rotate body to align product outlet with
the hole in air motor housing.
12 Install washer (10) and bushing (9)
onto adapter (11).
13 Install adapter (with thread sealant) into
body. Do not tighten adapter at this time.
14 Install cap screws (8) that secure body to
air motor. Tighten each cap screw
securely.
15 Tighten adapter into body.
16 Install aluminum gasket (20),
washer (21), and additional gasket (20)
into body. Ensure components maintain
their position.

17 For model 7783-C4, install o-ring (34)
18 Place ball (32) in upper end of foot valve
19 Tap pin (36) into foot valve
20 Clamp cylinder (31) in a soft-jaw vise.
21 Screw foot valve body (33) or (35)
22 Thread jam nut (22) onto upper end of
23 Remove cylinder from vise.
24 Place piston (29), spring (27)
25 Screw valve seat (30) onto adapter (26)
26 Screw the upper and lower

29 Install spring clip (24).
