To rotate it forwards, press the direction change button to the right (FIG. 1). To reverse
the direction, press it in the opposite direction and then press the power switch trigger.

The rotary hammer locks if the button is in the middle position. Please note that the first
time you use the rotary hammer, after reversing the rotation, you may hear a click when
switching it on. This is normal and does not represent a problem.
IMPORTANT! The tool has a safety locking system whereby when the direction change
button is in a neutral position, between Forward and Reverse, the on/off trigger switch is
disabled.
PRECAUTION:
•
Always check the direction of rotation before using the tool.
•
Only use the rotation change button when the tool has come to a complete stop. Attempt-
ing a change of rotation before the tool stops will cause damage to the tool.
•
When the tool is not in use, always place the rotation change knob in the neutral position.
SPEED SELECTOR
•
For low speed (0 - 400 rpm), slide the selector to position "1".
•
To select high speed (0 - 1 400 rpm), slide the selector to position "2".
ADJUSTING THE TORQUE CLAMPING
•
The torque setting allows the exact torque for the material to be screwed into to be
selected, depending on the diameter and size of the screw, and also the rotational force
required to do the job without damaging the material or the screws.
•
The torque may be adjusted to 18 + 2 different positions using the torque regulator.
•
The ideal position of the torque regulator for series operation is determined by trial and
error, i.e. start with the lowest torque for screwing or unscrewing and gradually increase
the torque setting required for screwing or unscrewing
