Unscrew so as not to damage the screw or the material.
For all drilling or boring operations, the torque adjuster must be set to the position of the
rotary hammer symbol. In this position the torque control system is deactivated.
IMPORTANT!
Before the work is carried out, carry out a test on the material to be machined or on a
workpiece of the same material to determine which torque level is suitable for the desired
work.
The torque regulator is not secured when the indicator is not positioned properly (up to
the stop) or between the graduations.
Do not use the tool with the adjusting ring positioned between the number 18 and the
marking — the tool may be damaged.
INSTALLATION OF DRILL BITS AND SCREWDRIVER BITS
The rotary hammer/screwdriver is equipped with an easy-tightening chuck which allows quick
and easy insertion of drill bits and screwdriver bits without the need for a chuck spanner.
Open the chuck by turning the ring (A) counterclockwise, while holding the ring (B).
Insert the shank of the drill bit or screwdriver bit. To secure the attachment, turn the ring
(A) clockwise while holding the ring (B), until the attachment is securely fastened.
FOR IMPROVED SCREWING
Place the shank of the screwdriver tip on the screw head and apply pressure on the tool.
Start with a low acceleration and increase it gradually. Release the trigger switch as soon as
the clutch slips.
PRECAUTION:
Make sure that the screwdriver tip is inserted correctly and vertically into the screw head,
otherwise both the screw and the tip may be damaged.
NOTE:
When using wood screws, drill pre-screw guide holes to make screwing easier and to prevent
breakage of the workpiece (see table).
