Operating Instructions
Keep all persons out of the path of moving equipment and logs when loading, turning or raising
logs. Failure to do so can result in serious injury.
Keep the log dog and log rest below the line of cut before cutting. Failure to do so can result in
injury and equipment damage.
Use the hydraulic log clamping system to clamp your log. Also, the hydraulic log clamping system can be
used to rotate a cant by using the log clamp.
As indicated by the valve label, the hydraulic log dog and log rest levers are located on the hydraulic valve
stack.
To raise the rest
up, push the lever
down. To lower the
rest down push the
lever up. Both log
rests are actuated
simultaneously
using the same
lever.
To clamp the cant
or log push the
lever down. To
unclamp the cant
or the log push the
lever up.
To raise the log
dog up, push the
lever down. To
lower the log dog,
push the lever up.
