WASH & RINSE JAR
1.
Always check to make sure the ON/OFF (I/O) switch on the side of motor base
is in the OFF(O) position. Unplug from the electric outlet.
2.
Remove jar from the motor base.
3.
Remove lid. Empty the food content from the jar as much as possible. Rinse jar
interior, lid and lid cap under running water. Add washing solution to jar. Scrub
and flush out the jar interior, lid and lid cap to dislodge and remove as much food
residue as possible. Empty jar.
4.
Wipe down exterior of jar with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with washing
solution. Wash lid and lid insert in fresh washing solution.
5.
Fill jar 1/4 full with fresh washing solution. Cover with lid and place on motor base.
Blend on HIGH speed for 2 minutes. Empty jar.
6.
Repeat steps #4 and #5, using clean rinse water in place of washing solution.
7.
CAUTION: TO MINIMIZE THE POSSIBILITY OF SCALDING, TEMPERATURE OF
WASHING SOLUTION AND RINSE WATER MUST NOT EXCEED 115˚F (46˚C),
AND QUANTITY USED MUST NOT EXCEED 1/4 JAR FULL.
SANITIZE & AIR-DRY CONTAINER
1.
Wipe down exterior of jar with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with sanitizing
solution.
2.
Fill jar with sanitizing solution, place on motor base, and add lid.
3.
Blend on HIGH speed for 1 minute.
4.
Empty jar. Dislodge any residual moisture from blade assembly by placing jar on
motor base and operating empty on HIGH speed for 2 seconds.
5.
Sanitize lid and lid insert by immersing in sanitizing solution for 2 minutes.
6.
Do not rinse jar, lid, or lid insert after sanitizing is completed.
Allow parts to air-dry.
CLEAN & SANITIZE MOTOR BASE
1.
Wipe down exterior surfaces of motor base with soft cloth or sponge dampened
with rinse water or sanitizing solution. Prevent liquid from running into motor base
by wringing all excess moisture from cloths or sponges before using them.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE MOTOR BASE IN WASHING SOLUTION, RINSE
WATER OR SANITIZING SOLUTION.
2.
Allow motor base to air-dry before use.

SENSIO Inc. warrants the CHEF-BUILT
®
from defect in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase
when used with food, non-abrasive liquids (other than detergents) and non-abrasive semi-
liquids, providing everything has been used as directed, and not in excess of the indicated
amounts.
Limited One-Year Warranty: SENSIO Inc. hereby warrants that for a period of ONE YEAR
from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship.
At its sole discretion, SENSIO Inc. will replace the product found to be defective, or issue a
refund on the product during the warranty period. The warranty is only valid for the original
retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. The original sales
receipt is required as proof of purchase in order to obtain warranty validation. Distributors and
retailers selling this product do not have the right to alter, modify, or in any way revise the
terms and conditions of the warranty.
This one-year limited warranty does not apply to any product that has become worn, defective,
damaged or broken due to abuse, misuse, overloading or tampering, or due to repairs or
servicing by a non-approved third-party vendor. The one-years limited warranty does not cover
incidental or consequential damages of any kind.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any
of the following: negligent use of the product, use of improper voltage or current, improper
routine maintenance, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair, or
alteration by anyone. Also, the warranty does not cover Acts of God such as fire, floods,
hurricanes, or tornadoes. SENSIO Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential
damages caused by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Apart from the extent
prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose is limited in time to the duration of the warranty. Some states, provinces or
jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages,
or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and therefore, the above exclusions or
limitations may not apply to you. The warranty covers specific legal rights which may vary by
state, province and/or jurisdiction.
The one year limited warranty is applicable only to appliances purchased in the United States;
this supersedes all other express product warranty or guarantee statements. For Chef Built
products sold outside of the United States, the warranty is the responsibility of the local
importer or distributor. This warranty may vary according to all applicable laws and regulations.
How To Obtain Warranty Service: You must contact Customer Service at our toll-free number:
1-866-832-4843. A Customer Service Representative will attempt to resolve warranty issues
over the phone. If the Customer Service Representative is unable to resolve the problem, you
will be provided with a case number and asked to return the product to SENSIO Inc. Attach
a tag to the product that includes: your name, address, daytime contact telephone number,
case number, and description of the problem. Also, include a copy of the original sales receipt.
Carefully package the tagged product with the sales receipt, and send it (with shipping and
insurance prepaid) to SENSIO Inc.'s address. SENSIO Inc. shall bear no responsibility or liability
for the returned product while in transit to SENSIO Inc.'s Customer Service Department.
