Operation
Concertos offers you a multitude of options to
adjust surround sound according to your personal
preferences and to different kinds of sound pre-
sentations. You can do this at any time from the
comfort of your armchair with the on screen
menu on your TV set, which you can launch and
control with your remote control.
Adjusting the volume
You can usually adjust the volume and the sur-
round and centre volume (centre channel) sepa-
rately using the remote control.
1. Set the desired volume by pressing
. Shortly afterwards, the menu
will be closed automatically.

Setting the volume for
Surround and Centre
You can adjust the volume of the surround spea-
kers and the centre channel separately.
1. Press

control.

select the "Center" or
"Surround" option in the line
„other...".
3. Using
select the desired
volume. If no other keys are pressed,
the menu will be closed automatically
again.
Sound correction
(Film Bass)
With Concertos, you can enjoy films as well as
music presentations both with the best possible
sound.

N.B.: The Concertos factory settings mean that in
TV operation, the Film setting is automatically
activated. If you select radio operation, the Music
setting is automatically activated. But you can
alter these default settings at any time with the
remote control, perhaps if you want to watch a
music presentation on TV.

So that you do not disturb anyone, perhaps if you
want to watch TV or listen to music in the small
hours, you can reduce the complexity of the
sound presentation with the special Digital Dyna-
mic Range
®
function, without compromising
quality.

(One To Five Mode)
Even if no stereo signal is available, as is someti-
mes the case with old films, you do not have to
do without surround sound completely: The
device can also process a mono signal so that sur-
round sound is produced during playback.
