LOMOGRAPHY IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE... 110 FILM IS BACK!
110 film was discontinued and had pretty much disappeared in the 1980s, so
Lomography is super proud to have brought it back from the brink of extinction
in 2012! 110 film, sometimes referred to as "pocket film", comes in a small
cartridge that you clip onto the back of the camera. The format of the film allows
the camera to be very, very small (just like your Fisheye Baby!) which means you
can not only take great pictures without anyone noticing, but you can squeeze it
into all types of small spaces to capture crazy Lomographic perspectives!
One of the unique features of the 110 format is that the film never leaves the
cartridge; this means that you don't have to rewind the film and that it's very
simple to unload or reload. Unlike other film formats such as 35 mm or 120, you
can actually switch films halfway through without destroying the entire film
(you just need to be prepared to lose one shot!) This offers all kinds of flexibility
when it comes to experimenting with different films while you're out on your
Lomographic adventures!
