Recording Tapes While Listening
to Another Source
With the A-X5030, two different sources
can be selected at the same time, one of
which
can
be heard from the speakers
(or headphones), the other of which can be
recorded.
For
instance,
while
you
are
listening to a compact disc or phonograph
record, you can record another source such
as an FM broadcast or perform tape-to-tape
dubbing.
To do this, the source to be heard from the
speakers is selected with the INPUT SELEC-
TOR switch while the source to be recorded
(or copied)
is selected
using the REC
SELECTOR
switch.
When
this is done,
perform recording as described above. To
monitor
the
sound
being
recorded
(or
copied),
use headphones connected to the
tape deck being used for recording.
When recording using the TAPES jacks,
the input source must be selected using
the INPUT SELECTOR switch.
