The appliance must be disposed of in
accordance with art. 13 of Legislative Decree
no. 15 of 25th July 2005, which "enacts
Directives 201/19/UE, 2017/2102/UE on the
reduced use of hazardous substances in
electric and electronic appliances, and on
waste disposal".
The barred waste bin symbol on the
appliance means it must be disposed
of separately from ordinary household
waste at the end of its useful life.
The user is required to take it to an authorised
collection centre for electronic and electro-
technical waste, or return it to the dealer when
purchasing an equivalent replacement.
Correct disposal of the appliance will enable
it to be recycled or treated in an
environmen-tally compatible manner.
Damage to the environment and human
health will be prevented if all the materials of
which the appliance is made are disposed of
correctly.
The owner of the appliance will be liable
to prosecution if the appliance is disposed of
in an illegal manner.
