GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Do not connect the fan to the power supply until the fan has been FULLY assembled.
•
Do not connect the fan to any power supply other than 230 V / 50 Hz.
•
Unplug the fan before adjusting it in any way.
•
Never operate the fan if it has damaged or worn parts. In such circumstances, it should be
handed over to the manufacturer, their service agent or a similarly qualified person for
repair.
•
Always position the fan on a stable and level surface.
•
Do not spray anything into the fan.
•
Do not use the fan near flammable substances or in areas where there is a risk of fire.
•
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove any screws.
•
Do not insert fingers or other objects through the fan guard.
•
Do not remain directly in the breeze created by the fan for long periods of time.
•
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
•
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
•
Children shall not play with the appliance.
•
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
•
Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before removing the guard.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE OPERATION
1.
Fan should be used only at the rated voltage. This fan is designed for a 220-240V- 50Hz
electric supply.
2.
Never insert fingers or any other object through the fan grille while fan is running.
3.
Unplug when not in use or when moving fan from one location to another, as well as before
adding or removing parts and before cleaning.
4.
Regularly check the power cord and plug for damage. lf the power cord or plug becomes
damaged, it must be repaired or replaced only by a qualified expert or agency to avoid
hazard.
5.
Do not place your fingers through the openings. Do not allow children to put any objects into
the front grille.
6.
Do not use this fan outside or in a damp area such as a bathroom.
7.
Do not cover the electrical cord. Do not overlay the cord with small covers or any similar
items. Position the cord in such a way that there is no risk to stumble over it.
