To set the machine in action you must act on the switches on the control panel:
PUMP
1. Set to position "I" the switches of the vacuum motors, of the rotating brush and of the driving
motor. By doing so, the vacuum motors and the rotating brush will start operating and you
enable the driving motor to work.
2. Regulate the speed of the driving motor by turning the speed control knob according to the
desired speed, from 0 to 10. Lower values correspond to a lower speed. You should start
initially with a speed between 4 and 5.
3. To activate the drive of the machine, you must push down on the control lever, which is
located on the control panel, near the handle of the machine. By pushing down the lever the
machine goes forward. By releasing, the machine stops.
4. If you need to pull back the machine, you have to switch off the driving motor before, by
setting the switch to position "O". In this way it is less heavy to pull the machine.
5. Set to position "I" the pump switch. In this way the solution pump works only while the
machine is moving forward, that is while the control lever is pressed down. With the switch in
position "II" you have a continuous flow.
6. Set the regulation valve on the left-lower part of the machine, in order to regulate the quantity
of water sprayed on the carpet. Screw the knob to reduce the water-flow, and unscrew to
increase the flow. To help the priming of the pump, initially unscrew totally the knob.
7. Regulate the height from floor of the rotating brush, so that you obtain more or less strength in
the action of the rotating brush on the carpet. To lower the brush you must pull the knob
located in the lower rear of the machine and turn it counterclockwise. To lift the brush, you
must turn it clockwise. We recommend you to lift completely the brush after finishing the work
and before storing the machine, in order to avoid its damage.
ATTENTION: The brush motor is protected from overload by a protection located on the control
panel. If this protection intervenes, it is necessary to reduce the pressure of the brush, to avoid the
overload of the motor. If this is not enough to avoid that the protection repeatedly intervenes, you
