Universal Mac (15 Pin) to VGA Adapter
The Universal Mac (15 Pin) to VGA Adapter allows you to take advantage of the built in video
capabilities of your Macintosh computer with any Panasonic PanaSync™ or PanaSync/Pro™
monitor. You may select via DIP switches one of the available video mode(s) for your monitor
model. The adapter is shipped with the DIP switches set to the 640 x 480 resolution mode.
The Universal Mac (15 Pin) to VGA Adapter has two (2) rows of DIP switches, the A Row and the B
Row, under a cover on one side of the adapter. The DIP Switch Cover is the side opposite the red
label. When the label reads correctly the Mac connector is on top and the VGA monitor connector is
on the bottom. These DIP switches allow you to configure the sync lines coming from the Macintosh
to match up with the VGA sync lines of your Panasonic PanaSync™, PanaSync/pro™ or
PanaMedia™ monitor as required and select one of the resolution(s) that is(are) supported by your
monitor.
The DIP switches also allow the selection of Macintosh extended sense modes to ensure
compatibility with future Macintosh modes and Apple Resolution Switching Software if your
computer and monitor support them.
