COOL MODE
RemoteControl
1. Press COOLpad.
2.Press LOW,MEDor HIGHpadsto setdesiredfan
speed.
3.Press the INCREASE +/DECREASE- padsto set
the desiredtemperature60°Fto 85°Fin I°F
increments.
ControlPanel
1.Press the MODE pad untilthe COOLindicatorlightis lit
and theLOW,MEDor HIGHindicatorlightis litfor the
desiredfan speed.
2.Press the INCREASE +/DECREASE-padsto setthe
desiredtemperature60°Fto 85°Fin I°F increments.
A thermostatisusedto maintainthe roomtemperature.
Thecompressor w ill cycleon and offto keepthe room
at the set levelof comfort.Setthe thermostatat a lower
numberand the indoorair will becomecooler.
Setthethermostatat a highernumberand the indoorair
will becomewarmer.
NOTE: i f the air conditionerisoff and isthenturnedon
whileset to COOL, i t will take approximately 3 minutes
for the compressor to start and coolingto begin.
Cooling Descriptions
For Normal Cooling-Selectthe COOLmodeand HIGH
or MEDfan with a middlesettemperature.
For MaximumCooling-SelecttheCOOLmode
and HIGHfan with a lowerset temperature.
For Quieterand Nighttime Cooling-Selectthe COOL
modeand LOWfanwith a middleset temperature.
NOTE: I f you switch from a COOL setting to OFF or to
a fan setting, wait at least 3 minutesbeforeswitching
back to a COOL setting.
FAN MODE
Usethe FANmodeto provideair circulationand filtering
without cooling.Since fan-only settingsdo not provide
cooling, a temperaturesettingwill not bedisplayed.

Press FANpad.Press LOW,NEDor HIGHpadsto set
desiredfan speed.

Press the MODEpad untilthe FANindicatorlightis lit
