Amplification

Use this feature to enhance the loudness of a caller's voice
on the cordless or corded handset earpiece. Whilst in a call
press
of the cordless handset. To deactivate, press the same key
again.

Volume control

On the cordless handset
Whilst in a call press the volume buttons on the side.
On the corded phone
Whilst in a call press the volume keys

Mute

The mute function allows you to hear the other party but the
other party cannot hear you.
