General advises - The Hi-Speed has been developed with the e-bike software versions released at
the purchasing date. By updating the e-bike software, the Hi-speed and the motor may generate errors or
be permanently damaged by the ant-tuning devices installed on some motors. In this case the Hi-Speed
is not covered by any warranty and we decline any responsibility. The update of the e-bike software is
allowed ONLY after removing the Hi-Speed, but its functioning will not be granted.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Remove the pedal (caution: use a 1 mm pitch M22 extractor) and remove the plastic casing. Detach the
grey connector from the grey/green hole in the motor (photos 1 and 2) and connect the blue Hi-Speed
connector in the grey/green engine hole. Pay close attention to the direction of the notch of the connector
that should be facing right and not up (photo 3).
Warning: the connectors have only one direction of engagement: check that both are inserted thoroughly
and correctly. Insert the heat shrink sheath on the cable and plug the appropriate connector and insert the
red connector of the Hi-Speed device into the small holes of the grey cable (photo 4). Pay attention to the
arrow on the plastic insert: it must coincide with the notch on the gray connector (speed sensor, picture
4). With a heat source, shrink the sheath and seal the connectors. Place the Hi-Speed in an accessible
position to activate it later with the magnet provided (photo 5). Close the casing with the original torx
screws taking care not to spoil the thread.
ACTIVATE THE HI-SPEED
Just installed, the Hi-Speed is immediately active; the display shows 5.0 Km/h (photo 6) to confirm that
the Hi-Speed is in operation and without speed limits.
The actual speed is indicated by the last 2 digits on the display, for example 14.2 corresponds to 42
Km/h. (photo 7). Each time the bike is switched on, the display will show the maximum speed limit set.
You can calibrate the wheel, the operating mode and change the speed limits of the Hi-Speed by executing
the configuration procedure.
HI-SPEED CONFIGURATION:
Calibrate the wheel
This procedure configures the wheel circumference to obtain a more accurate figure when the speed is
shown on the display.
1) Turn off the bike.
2) Check that the magnet on the wheel/disc is away from the speed sensor.
3) Turn on the bike and with the supplied magnet, approach and quickly move away from the Hi-Speed
for 5/6 times (picture 8); the display will show a value between 9 and 15 Km/h. This value indicates that
the configuration mode is active and that the wheel/speed calibration can be carried out.
4) Different speeds appear on the display: when the display indicates about 10.0, bring the magnet closer
to the Hi-Speed. The display drops to 0.0, which indicates that the wheel/speed is calibrated.
5) Switch off the bike
Setting up the speed limit
With this procedure you can set the maximum speed limit.
If you set 25km/h as maximum limit, you activate the "Stealth Mode".
If you set 50km/h as maximum limit, the bike will not have any maximum limit.
1) Turn off the bike.
2) Check that the magnet on the wheel/disc is away from the speed sensor.
3) Turn on the bike and with the supplied magnet, approach and move quickly to the Hi Speed for 5/6
times, the display will show a value between 9 and 15 km/h. This value indicates that the configuration
mode is active.
4) Wait for the display to indicate about 25 Km/h, approach the Hi-Speed with the magnet and select the
