CARE AND MAINTENANCE
To ensure the longevity and beauty of your HELIKA® composite granite sink, follow these care and
maintenance recommendations:
Cleaning: Regularly clean your sink using a non-abrasive sponge and dishwashing soap. Rinse and dry completely with a clean, soft
cloth.
soft scouring pad and mildly abrasive cleaner HELIKA® Care or another specilized cleaner. Clean, rinse, and dry the sink thoroughly,
then a quartz sink conditioner can be applied.
Surface Deposits: To remove hard water, calcium, or lime, use HELIKA Lime® or another specialized cleaner. Alternatively, use white
vinegar on a paper towel and rinse after 20 minutes.
Recommendations:
• Avoid throwing sharp objects into the sink as this may damage the surface.
• Take care when handling heavy objects and ceramic ware in the sink.
•Although the sink's surface is resistant to temperatures up to 180°C, do not place hot pots and pans directly on the sink as they may cause staining. Place a
pot or pan on a tray and let them cool.
• Use optional protective bottom grids(s) to prevent scratches.
• Apply specialized Quartz Sink Conditioner or olive oil regularly to maintain the sink's luster.
• Use a magic eraser sponge to remove metallic surface marks.
• Do not use abrasive detergents or washing powders as they may make the granite surface more sensitive to coloring materials.
• Avoid leaving corrosive foods such as salt, vinegar, mustard, red wine, and black tea on the sink's surface for extended periods.
DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS
All items should be disposed of following local waste disposal guidelines and regulations.
