When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
• Read all instructions.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord,
plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used
by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug
or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged
in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized
service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch
hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance
containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
• Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into
the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to «off», then
remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is
intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
modify the plug in any way.
Cleaning the bottle warmer:
• Wait until the bottle warmer is cold before cleaning it.
• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
• Never immerse the appliance in water and do not fill completely with water.
• Do not use detergent to clean the appliance.
• Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the inside and outside.
• The adapter ring and basket for baby food jars are all dishwasher-safe.
Descaling:
• Do not use descaling products.
• After repeated use, and depending on the amount of water used, a layer of limescale may build up inside the tank.
• Descale the tank regularly to ensure the appliance works correctly. Note that the low water level indicator (9) lights up when
the appliance needs descaling.
• Descale the appliance as follows: mix 3.4 fl oz (100 ml) of hot water with 3.4 fl oz (100 ml) of white vinegar and pour the solution
into the tank. Leave for 30 minutes and empty the appliance. Clean with a damp cloth.

Change the water every 24 hours to prevent the build-up of bacteria.
DUO SMART WARMER
• A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a
longer cord.
• Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords
are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
• If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension
cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the cord set or
extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical
rating of the appliance.
• The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children
or tripped over unintentionally.
• Should not heated for too long. Before serving be sure food
is at safe temperature.
• ATTENTION: to eliminate the risk of burns, always check
the temperature of the food before giving it to your baby.
For a bottle, shake it well to mix the milk. Pour a drop onto
the inside of your wrist to check its temperature. For a jar,
mix the contents and try it in order to check it is not too hot.
• Before serving, unplug cord from wall outlet and dish. Do not
leave cord within child's reach.
• Be sure dual voltage selector, it is in correct voltage position
before operating. Before plugging in, read the information
about the dual voltage contained in instruction section of
this manual.
• This appliance was set at the factory to be operated at
120 volts. Refer to operating instructions section of this
manual for conversion to 12 volts operation.
• Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized
service representative.
