6.2 Activation
Position the appliance on a flat, solid surface.
Connect the plug to the power supply socket (220-240V - 50/60Hz).

Use
The appliance is equipped with a control panel that manages the
following functions:
- ON/OFF: power on/off (D)
- Speed: 8 operating speeds can be selected (C)
- Shut-down delay: it is possible to select a delay time adjustable to 8
values (1h..8h): the appliance will switch off automatically after the
selected time period (B)
- Horizontal oscillation: automatic oscillation can be activated at 3
angle values (30°, 60°, 90°) (A)
Display lighting can be deactivated (press and hold Speed button)
and reactivated (press any button).
User settings for the speed and oscillation value are stored when the
appliance is switched off and proposed when it is switched on again,
unless the appliance is unplugged. In the latter case the factory values
will be proposed when it is switched on again.
The appliance is also equipped with a remote control, housed in
the rear of the appliance body, with the same functions:
- On/Off (D)
- Speed: 8 operating speeds can be selected using the buttons

Correct use of the remote control requires a maximum tilt angle
of 30° and a maximum distance of 5 m from the appliance.
Note: The CR2032 battery is not included.
Vertical tilting: it is possible to tilt the appliance manually (-10° to +30°)
If the appliance needs to be moved:
- Pull out the plug
- Use the handle to lift and move the appliance
