o When the HOME screen is open, this shows the type of disc
loaded in the disc tray.

HIDE MENU indicator

When the HIDE MENU function is on, an * will be shown.
NOTE
If the screen is black or the Settings screen does not open
when the SETUP button on the remote control is pressed,
check whether this indicator (*) is being shown, and turn the
HIDE MENU function off if necessary.
During playback
During playback, this shows the playback status and the current
title, chapter and time.

"DTS" appears during DTS, DTSHD and other DTS surround
playback. "DB" appears during Dolby digital and other Dolby
playback.
Connected media

USB appears when a file is playing on a USB flash drive or
other device connected to a USB port. SD appears when a file
is playing on an SD card loaded in the SD card slot.
"USB" or "SD" will also appear when USB or SD is selected on
the Media Screen.

This shows the current playback time. This is shown in the for-

mat selected in the information bar. To switch the time shown
on the unit display, switch the ON SCREEN time setting. (See
