5.11. Adjusting the spindle speed (rpm):
• Open the Belt Guard Cover and loosen the belt tensioner found on the outside
• Choose the drilling speed (see Tables 8.2 e 8.3, or the sticker inside the belt guard cover) and move the belt
to the correct position for the desired speed.
• Push the motor backwards until reaching the desired tension on the belt (Figures 8.15 and 8.16).
•
When the desired tension is reached, tighten the belt tensioner (Figure 8.14).

5.12. Adjusting the belt tension:
• To verify the belt tension, apply a 10 pound (3,7 kg) force, or manual force on the belt.
• The deflection should be 1/2" (x = 12,5mm) + 10% (Figures 8.15 and 8.16).
