Overheating protection system
The egg boiler is provided with an overheating pro-
tection system that in case of improper operation
protects the appliance against damages. If the ap-
pliance is operated without water by mistake, there
appears a beep after some seconds and the overhea-
ting safety system turns the thermostat off. In this
case, pull the power plug and let the appliance cool off
for some minutes before operating it again (Atten-
tion! Do not pour water on the hot heating unit).
Temperature protection system
Apart from the automatic overheating protection
system the egg boiler is additionally provided with
a temperature protection system. If the overheating
protection fails in case of improper operation, the
temperature protection system separates the applian-
ce from the current entry. In this case you will have
to bring your egg boiler to the Cloer specialist dealer
or Cloer customer service as a repeated starting-up is
not possible any more.
Cleaning / decalcification
• Calcification on the heating unit has a negative effect
on the functioning of the appliance.
• This is why the appliance should be regularly decalci-
fied. For decalcification, add a dash of vinegar to the
water.
• Fill the vinegar water into the heating unit and let it
boil away without lid. After that, clean the heating
unit by means of a damp, soft cloth.
• Warranty void in case of improper functioning due to
decalcification!
• With incorrect functioning due to calcification, no
warranty claim exists!

ard/ paper and plastic packaging appropriately.

disposed of with the household trash.

When an appliance is worn-out, please take it to a
recognised recycling facility. Consult the local autho-
rities for information on recycling appliances.
Warranty
Cloer electrical appliances are in conformity with the
currently required EC-guidelines and safety regulati-
ons. If your Cloer electrical appliance has a defect or it
does not work properly, contact your specialist dealer.
