¢ Make sure that you insert the battery only after you have attached the battery
case to the unit. Otherwise the unit may not operate properly. Should this
happen, remove the battery and the battery case and re-attach them in the
correct manner after making sure that the LCD display has disappeared.
© Do not short circuit the terminals of the battery case when the battery is
inserted.
Insert the battery with the correct polarity.
«When the unit is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the battery to
avoid damage caused by battery leakage and subsequent corrosion.
° It can be dangerous if the positive and negative terminals of a dry battery or the
rechargeable battery are accidentally connected by a metallic object as this can
generate heat: do not carry them in your pocket etc. with coins or other metallic
objects.
¢ When the battery compartment lid is detached accidentally, attach it as
illustrated.
