For the customers in other countries
1 Insert the lithium battery and a dry battery or the rechargeable
battery.
2 When using in Japan
Press the TIMER button and the TUNE + button on the main unit at
the same time for more than 3 seconds.
The radio frequency ranges will change to FM: 76 — 90 MHz/
AM: 531 - 1,710 kHz.
When using in U.S.A.
Press the PRESET TUNE button and TUNE + button on the main
unit at the same time for more than 3 seconds.
The radio frequency ranges will change to FM: 87.5 — 108 MHz/
AM: 530 — 1,710 kHz.
Returning to the original frequency range
Press the STOP/RADIO OFF button and the TUNE + button on the
main unit at the same time for more than 3 seconds or remove the
lithium battery.
Notes
¢ Proceed above mentioned steps when the unit is in the stop mode.
¢ After you have changed the frequency ranges of the AM and FM bands, the
memories of the stations you have stored before changing the frequency ranges
will be cancelled.
