'Reducing the Noise during AM Recording
If a whistling noise is heard, which was inaudible before the REC
switch was moved, set the ISS switch on the side panel to 1,2 or 3,
depending on which one best reduces the noise.
Notes
¢ While recording, all buttons cannot be operated except for the STOP button.
¢ The HOLD switch of the main unit does not function for the BB button of the
remote controller.

recorded, or the beginning section will be missed.
¢ The REC switch can only be operated when the unit is in the stop mode or radio
teception mode.
¢ The tape transport mode set by the MODE switch will automatically changed to
"a" when you slide the REC switch.
¢ The DOLBY NR selector does not function when recording.
¢ Use a new dry battery or the fully charged rechargeable battery for recording.
¢ Make sure that the headphones volume is not set too high, or a howling effect
may occur.
© Do not record with the built-in microphones near a lamp cord or a fluorescent
lamp in order to avoid noises being picked up.
* Set the EX DBB selector switch to NORM when monitoring the sound being
