Fasten the wiring harness by using the supplied 377 mm cable ties to affix it to the towing hitch
cross-member.
Insert the three 6-pin, 10-pin and 24-pin connector housings of the wiring harness into the intended
slots in the trailer connection unit and click into place (see fig. 4).
Then insert the trailer connection unit from above at the intended position next to the battery in the
battery compartment in front of the seat console, and secure in place (see fig. 4).

Connect the four cable lugs of the brown wires in the 12-wire and 9-wire wiring harnesses to the
vehicle earthing point in the seat console.
Route the remaining wire ends of the 09-wire wiring harness in the intended wiring ducts under the
centre console on the vehicle wiring harness to the BCM (Body Control Module) and then use the
supplied 143 mm cable ties to secure in place.
*Note: On RHD vehicles, the position of the BCM is mirrored opposite the LHD.
