12. Disconnect from the power supply by pulling the power plug. Do not pull on the
power cord.
13. Do not plug in the power cord or operate the appliance with wet hands or when
standing on a wet floor.
14. It is normal for the plug to get warm while the appliance is being used. However,
a loose fit between the plug and the outlet may cause overheating. If this occurs,
try inserting the plug into a different outlet (socket). An adapter can be used for
connecting three-blade, grounding-type plugs to 2-slot outlets (sockets). The
grounding plug extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent
ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter should not be used if a
three-slot grounded receptacle is available. If the connection is loose or the plug or
outlet are damaged in any way, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT DEFEAT THE
SAFETY PURPOSE OF THE GROUNDED PLUG.
15. For additional electrical safety, you are advised to use a residual current device
(RCD / Safety Switch) with a tripping current not exceeding 30 mA in the household
wall outlet supplying power to your appliance. Consult a qualified electrician if you
are not sure how to proceed.
