Only insert the battery once
the power tool is fully ready
for use.
Changing­from­jigsaw­
to sabre saw
Remove the battery from the
device to prevent accidental
operation. Risk of injury!
Jigsaw to sabre saw:
1.­ Press­the­release­button­(1)­and­unfold­
the power tool
2. Let go of the release button (1) and
unfold the power tool to a 90° angle
until there is an audible click.
Installing/changing
the saw­blade
Caution! Risk of injury!
- Do not use any blunt or bent bla-
des or blades which are dama-
ged in any other way.
­ Wear­protective­gloves­when­
attaching the saw blade.
Risk of injury when touching the
saw blade.
Only saw blades with a hol-
der identical to the supplied
saw blades (4.1/4.2/11/12)
can be used. Risk of injury!
Be sure to always use the correct
saw blade for the material.
­ You­will­find­the­spare­saw­blades­
in­"Spare­Parts/Accessories".

Installing the saw blade
Make­sure­that­the­saw­blade­holder­is­
free of splinters or other material residue.
1. Turn the quick-release lock (8) as far to
the­left­as­possible­and­hold­it­firmly­in­
this position.
2. Insert the saw blade (4.1/4.2/ 11/12)
into­the­chuck­(7).­Make­sure­that­
the saw blade (4.1/4.2/11/12) is
attached correctly and the teeth are
pointing in the cutting direction.
3. Release the quick-release lock (8).
4. Check that the saw blade is secure by
pulling on it.
Removing the saw blade
1. Hold the saw blade (4.1/4.2/ 11/ 12)
firmly.­
Turn the quick-release lock (8) as far to
the­left­as­possible­and­hold­it­firmly­in­
this position.
2.­ Remove­the­saw­blade­(4.1/4.2/­
11/12) from the chuck (7).
3. Release the quick-release lock (8).
Inserting/removing­the­
rechargeable battery
Only Li-ion batteries from the
Parkside­X­20­V­series­may­be­used.
1. To insert the battery (14), push the bat-
tery (14) along the guide rail into the
device.­You­will­hear­it­click­into­place.
2.­ To­remove­the­battery­(14)­from­the­
device,­press­the­release­button­(13)­on­
the battery and pull the battery (14) out.
Only insert the battery once
the battery-operated tool is
fully ready for use.
