➢ THE APPLIANCE HAS VARIOUS PROTECTIONS
1. Frost protection function:
In cooling mode, if the evaporator pipe temperature is too low, the machine will go into the
protection state until the temperature of the evaporator pipe temperature sensor is raised,
then the air conditioner will return to operation normal.
2. Water overflow protection function:
When the water in the water pan exceeds the warning level, an alarm sounds, and the full
tank indicator flashes. The appliance must be emptied (see paragraph "Tank full
indicator").
3. Automatic defrost:
The air conditioner has the automatic defrost function. After defrosting, the air conditioner
will return to normal operation.
4. Compressor protection:
To increase the life of the compressor, the compressor has a start-up protection function of
3 minutes after the compressor is switched off.
➢ CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE :
IMPORTANT: Always unplug the power cord from the power outlet before cleaning or servicing
the machine.
• APPLIANCE MAINTENANCE:
1. Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scouring pads, or metal / sharp tools to
clean your device.
2. Dry the device completely after cleaning.
3. Store the device in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children and pets.
4. For all maintenance and cleaning operations, it is IMPERATIVE to unplug the appliance for
safety reasons.
5. Do not use chemicals or detergents for cleaning, which could easily damage or deform your
device.
6. Clean the air conditioner with a slightly damp cloth, then dry it.
• AIR FILTER MAINTENANCE:
For best efficiency, the air filter should be cleaned
after 100 hours of use.
Switch off the appliance and unplug it, remove the
evaporator filter grid, remove the filter.
Likewise for the lower part of the capacitor
Remove the vis filter hold, then the capacitor filter
grid and filter.
Clean and reinstall the air filters: in case of obvious dirt, wash the filters in lukewarm soapy
water, rinse them and dry them before replacing them in its compartment.
Close the grids and tighten the retaining screw.
Remark : When using the air conditioner in an extremely dusty environment, clean the air filter
every 2 weeks.
