• VERY IMPORTANT: Do not immerse the appliance in water
or other liquids.
• The device is intended to be used in domestic and similar
applications such as:
- By clients in hotels, motels and other residential-type
environments;
- Hostel-type environments (bed and breakfast in English)
- Excluding staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other
work environments;
- Excluding farms
• The cleaning and maintenance done by users, can not be done
by children without any supervision, unless they are over 8
years and they are under supervision.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or by its after-sales service or similar qualified
personnel in order to avoid a danger.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• Open the lid (6).
• Add the desired amount of coffee in the filter (9) using the spoon (10).
• Do not put too much coffee in the filter (9) and never press the coffee down. The water may overflow.
• To obtain a stronger or milder coffee, adjust the amount of coffee in the filter to taste.
• Pour cold water into the tank according to the number of coffee cups you are preparing. The marks of the
water level (7) will give you an estimated quantity.
• Close the lid and plug the machine into the mains.
• It is advisable to slant the jar when placing on the heating plate and when removing it.
• Set the switch (2).
• The coffee will begin to flow in a short time.
• While the coffee is being made you may remove the jug (4), as the automatic anti-drip system stops it from
dripping. Take care not to remove it for too long as the coffee in the filter holder may overflow.
• If you wish to keep the coffee hot, leave the jug (4) on the hot plate (3) and keep the coffee machine on
(check bellow ATTENTION chapter).
ATTENTION
• The coffee maker will switch off automatically after around 15 minutes from its operation, to comply with
Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before anything, make sure the coffee maker is unplugged from the mains.
• The jug, the filter and the filter holder may be cleaned with a hot soapy water taking care to rinse them
carefully afterwards.
• To remove the filter holder (8) open the lid (6) and pull it.
• The hot plate and the body of the coffee maker should be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened in water.
