MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Make sure to turn off the switch handle and remove the battery packs from the snow
blower before inspecting, cleaning, or performing any maintenance task on your snow
blower.
Always wear gloves when performing any maintenance.
When servicing, use only the manufacturer's recommended replacement parts and
accessories.
NOTE: Regular inspection is the most important step to proper maintenance. By following
the guidelines below, you can maximize the safety, durability, and effectiveness of your
blower. Should you identify any damaged or excessively worn parts, replace them immediate-
ly. For repairs and service, please work with an authorized service dealer, which can be

7.1 GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Do not spray the unit with water. Ingress of water may destroy the control panel and
the electric motor. Clean the unit with a cloth, hand brush, etc.
Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating
oils, etc., come in contact with a plastic part. Chemicals can damage, weaken or
destroy plastic which can result in serious personal injury.
1. Turn off your machine and remove the battery pack.
2. Clear any snow in the auger housing with a hand brush.
3. Clean dirt and debris from the machine using a damp cloth with a mild detergent.
4. Do not use any strong detergents on the plastic housing or the handle. They can be
damaged by certain aromatic oils, such as pine and lemon, and by solvents such as
kerosene.
5. Completely dry your machine before use. A damp machine presents a shock
hazard.

Auger is sharp, always wear gloves when performing any maintenance near the auger.
Check frequently for wear and replace the scraper bar every 50 working hours for ideal
working conditions. (PN: GMA-SB21)

of snow blowing, the bar may touch the ground or stone directly, resulting in wear.
Remove the battery and turn the snow blower on its side to work on the tool. (Fig. 13)
2. Use a Hex wrench to remove the 5 nuts and washers under the bottom of the
housing. Remove the worn scraper bar from the snow blower. (Fig. 13)
3. Attach the new scraper bar to the bottom of the snow blower housing with the shiny
