INSTRUCTIONS OF USE

ATTENTION

• Read carefully these instructions before using the appliance for the first time and keep it for

future enquiries.

• Keep all plastic bags and packaging components out of the reach of children. They are

potentially dangerous.

• Do not immerse the appliance in water nor place it in wet surfaces.

• Do not maintain exposed to high temperatures.

• Do not hit the scale, the scale is an electronic device really accurate.

• Place the scale on a horizontal rigid surface.

• Clean with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive or chemical products.

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE

• The scale works by automatic power generator. This energy is generated

by turning the "U-POWER" button.

• Turn lightly the "U-POWER" button, wait for the charging is completed

and the display shows "0" to place the items (Fig. A).

• The scale will switch off automatically after a while since the last

weighing. A few seconds before switching off, the charge indicator will

go blank and will start flashing.

WEIGHING

• Wait until the display is set to "0". You can choose the weighing system in grams "g", ounces

"oz", pounds ounces "lb:oz", millimetres of water "water-ml" or millimetres of milk "milk-ml"

by pressing the "UNIT" bottom placed at the bottom side of the scale.

• Perform weighing.

• You may add items to those already weighed without removing them by pressing TARA.

• Place and remove the items with care.

YOU MUST BEAR IN MIND

• Avoid exceeding the maximum capacity of the scale (5 kg). If the maximum capacity is exceeded

the message "EEEE" will appear on the display.

• The scale is a sensible electronic instrument. Some appliances of high frequency as mobiles,

radio stations, remote controls and microwaves, can cause interferences if the scale is used

nearly of them. Keep it far away of these points if you notice irregularities on the display.

• The scale is not apt for commercial transactions or medical purposes.

• Designed for domestic use only.
