The ON and OFF operating point of the float switch can be set by adjusting the float in its locking bracket.

The float switch must be installed so that the ON and OFF operating point levels can be reached easily and with
little force. To check this, place the pump in a container filled with water, carefully lift the float switch by hand
and lower it again. As you do so, note whether the pump starts and stops.

Make sure that the distance between the head of the float switch and the snap-in bracket is not too small. Correct
operation cannot be guaranteed if the distance is too small.

When adjusting the float switch, ensure that it does not touch the base before the pump stops. Caution!Risk of
dry running.
